We call.
You dine.
Some of Japan's finest sushi and kappo counters take reservations by phone only — in Japanese. We make the call for you, so the table is yours.
You pay nothing unless we get the reservation. Success fee only.
Three steps
No Japanese. No hotel concierge required. No fee until it works.
Tell us the table
Send us the restaurant, your dates, party size, budget and any allergies. We check whether the seat is realistically bookable — and tell you honestly if it isn't.
We make the call
Our Japanese-speaking owner phones the restaurant directly, secures the seat, and confirms your requests — the way a local regular would.
You dine
You get the full confirmation in English — address, time, house rules — plus a reminder before you go. Then you just show up and eat.
The tables we call for
The counters that don't take online bookings — and won't take a call in English. Exactly the ones you can't reach on your own.
Phone-only sushi counters
Owner-run sushi-ya that take bookings only by phone, roughly a week ahead, in Japanese — the classic "can't get a table" list on r/JapanTravel.
Small kappo & kaiseki
Intimate counters in Tokyo and Kyoto with no online inventory, where a phone call in Japanese is the only way in.
Michelin-level, phone-first
Famously hard-to-book rooms that still run on the phone. If a seat exists, we go after it.
Just send the name
If OMAKASE, TableCheck or your hotel can't book it, that's precisely our lane. Send us the restaurant and we'll try.
We focus on food only, so it stays simple: SushiKappoKaisekiTempuraYakitoriUnagi
